The need to achieve an aesthetic and durable bonding
The new fragrance creation of this major French luxury brand required a combination of technicality and aesthetics, the technicality due to the problem of assembling two parts with distinct physical constraints, including surlin, an unstable plastic material. The aesthetic aspect had to be taken into account, like all cosmetic products, which require a harmonious design.
Total control of the dosing and bonding processes
With their expertise in the field of industrial bonding, the SUPRATEC Syneo teams established, in collaboration with the customer, the scenario of their dosing and bonding process, allowing an integrator to propose a complete machine.
In order to obtain an aesthetic bond, it was necessary to use a UV adhesive, guaranteeing a transparent bond. Among the properties of the proposed adhesive is its flexible behaviour to absorb shocks and expansion effects between the two materials.
Thanks to its App’Lab and its mastery of the dosing and gluing processes, SUPRATEC Syneo has participated in the creation of this bottle, which now sells more than 8 million units each year.
